Winter isn’t normally the time that most of us would associate with making the most of our decking – but you might be surprised at how many things you can still use it for, even in the midst of the current cold snap! Here’s a good place to start – you can transform your decking into a winter wonderland by adorning it with sparkling festive lights and charming seasonal decorations. You can keep it as a private paradise for you and your family, or even host a magical dinner party, keeping guests warm and comfortable with cosy blankets and cushions. Illuminate the space with soft, ambient lighting, creating a welcoming atmosphere for a memorable and festive outdoor dining experience. Consider serving hearty winter dishes and warming beverages to enhance the seasonal celebration.
If you have a composite deck, you can turn your decking into the perfect cosy gathering spot by (carefully!) adding a fire pit. Take your pick from various types of outdoor seating to arrange around the warmth of the fire, creating the ideal setting for intimate conversations and laughter.
