      Is There A Sample Service?<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      We do indeed. We understand that choosing a kitchen worktop<\/a><\/strong> is quite a big decision. Our sample service lets you see a piece of the worktop in the flesh for yourself, so that you can really get a sense of how it\u2019s going to look in your kitchen. The price of the sample is refundable against your worktop purchase, so don\u2019t worry about any extra costs.<\/p>\n

        How Long Does Delivery Take?<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        We offer delivery 7 days a week, including weekends! We\u2019re all about making things easier and more convenient for you here at Savoy Timber, so we also make sure to offer next working day and pre-12 noon timeslot options. This way, with a little bit of planning in advance, you can choose a delivery time that suits you. All we ask is that if you want it for next day delivery, that you place your order before 10am on the preceding day.<\/p>\n

          Do I Need To Be There When You Deliver My Worktop?<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          It doesn\u2019t have to be you specifically, but we need an able-bodied adult to help move the worktop<\/strong><\/a>. In fact, the more, the better; moving a kitchen worktop is at least a two-man job, sometimes even three. We only deliver to the \u2018kerbside\u2019 and we\u2019re unable to enter private residences, so it\u2019d be wise to have several people on hand.<\/p>\n

            Can I Pick Up My Kitchen Worktop Myself?<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            If that\u2019s your preference, definitely. You can use the Click and Collect option when you place your order to have it delivered to a store of your choice. (We have three locations across the North West in Blackpool, Preston and Wigan.) A friendly member of staff will get in touch with you when your order is ready for collection. Don\u2019t forget, it\u2019s very unlikely you\u2019ll be able to take the weight on your own!<\/p>\n

              How Do I Fit My Kitchen Worktop?<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Our kitchen worktops<\/strong><\/a> are fitted with butt and scribe joints. This is a very simple join \u2013 essentially, you just need to push them together.<\/p>\n

              1. The first step is to lay your worktop down very close to its final position.<\/li>\n
              2. Then apply ColourFill sealant around one side of the worktop joint.<\/li>\n
              3. Push the two sections of worktop together, letting the sealant do its work.<\/li>\n
              4. Underneath the worktop, tighten the EasiBolts that secure the worktops sections in place.<\/li>\n
              5. A bit of ColourFill sealant will probably squeeze itself out into the open from the joint. Remove this bit with a spatula. (The mixing tool, not the kitchen utensil!)<\/li>\n
              6. With that done, remove the ColourFill around the corner with your finger.<\/li>\n
              7. Wait five minutes or so, then get rid of the remaining ColourFill with ColourFill solvent. It\u2019ll clean it right up.<\/li>\n
              8. You\u2019re all done! Make sure your worktops are in their correct final position, and secure them to your units.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  What If I Need To Cut My Kitchen Worktop?<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  If you\u2019ve not got the tools, time or confidence to cut your kitchen worktop<\/strong><\/a> yourself, we offer a fantastic expert fabrication service here at Savoy Timber. This includes double and single joint fabrication, and we\u2019re even able to radius then edge your worktop to your exact specifications. Whatever size or shape you need your worktop, we\u2019ve got the skill and equipment to get the job done, saving you from all the hard work.<\/p>\n

                    Why Is My Kitchen Worktop Longer Than The Quoted Size?<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    This is one of those questions we get asked especially frequently \u2013 bear with us, it\u2019s not a mistake! If you\u2019ve not ordered your worktop cut to length, we give an extra bit of leeway when delivering the worktops. This way, you can trim down the worktop<\/strong><\/a> to your exact size. Our reasoning is that it\u2019s easy to trim a kitchen worktop down to size, but you can\u2019t lengthen it if it\u2019s too short!<\/p>\n
